The EU Parliament voted against a legal proposal to reduce pesticides on the 22nd of November 2023. The conservatives did what the pesticide industry asked them to do and got the support of right wing and liberal politicians. They did not listen to many, many scientists and citizens that asked them to put citizens and farmers’ health as well as biodiversity above the interests of the chemical industry.
